About us

Keelby Village Hall is a large, well-used, Grade II listed historic building that is genuinely at the heart of our community.  Our Historic England Listing Number is 1063368.

The diverse range of events available means there is something for everyone to participate in and enjoy.  For example, the Hall is home to Keelby Luncheon Club (now in its thirtieth anniversary year), the even longer established Keelby Senior Citizens' Christmas Party and the perennially popular Keelby Pantomime (this year Dick Whittington by Rob Till, staged in October!)

Please support us in this, our fortieth anniversary year.  The property was purchased by the community, for the community and the Village Hall Committee created to maintain, manage and run it in 1982!  Our Charity Commission Registration Number is 512808.

We need your help so we can continue to improve our award-winning Hall and all it has to offer both now and for the future.

The first phase of construction began 125 years ago in 1897 (as the Church Mission) and the foundation stone laid by the Right Honourable Victoria, Countess of Yarborough, in November of that year can still be seen.

We are presently fundraising to enable the sustainable refurbishment and reinstallation of the Hall's iconic clock as a befitting way to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.  The clock, which is contemporaneous with the building itself, has not been operational for some years now.  Please can you support us in delivering this important project on behalf of the Keelby community?

Thank you for your valued support and good luck!

Yours sincerely,

Keelby Village Hall Committee
