We are now several months in to the West Lindsey Lottery. Playing the lottery gives you a chance of winning up to £25,000 but the Good Causes are the real winners.
Page's Pet Rescue are one of our top causes, selling 58 tickets per week and are targeted to generate over £1,500 this year. We caught up with Michelle and asked her about the lottery:
How did you hear about the Lottery?
We heard about the lottery from a Facebook post by the council page.
Why did you sign up?
To raise much needed funds for Page’s Petrescue, so we can continue to rescue as many as possible that need our help.
How do you encourage your members or community to play?
We encourage members to play by explaining what our rescue does and how it needs public support to help animals in need.
What’s the best thing about the Lottery?
People get to donate to good causes whilst at the same time be in with a chance of winning money!
